Majboos

Majboos (Arabic: مجبوس) is an Arabic dish usually seen in the State of Kuwait, and the Kingdom of Bahrain. It is a preparation of lamb or chicken cooked with rice. Long-grain Basmati rice is used to cook Majboos. In chicken Majboos, a whole chicken is used. Majboos is garnished with "Hashu" and served hot with "Dakkous" - homemade tomato sauce.
