Hakuji is Japanese white porcelain originally made from a superior white-stoned clay thought to be discovered in the early 1600's at Izumiyama (
Izumi Mountain ,Arita ) by Korean potter Ri Sampei (Yi Sam Pyong ).It is always plain white without colored patterns and is often seen as bowls, tea pots, cups and other Japanese tableware.
