Notable_instruments =Schmoof is a
synthpop /electropop group formed inLondon in2002 bySarah Schmoof (vocals, synthesizers) andLloyd Schmoof (synthesizers).Schmoof use analogue synthesizers from the '70s and '80s controlled by a 1985 Atari ST. More recently, the band has made their sound fuller using more distorted tones, blending electro with a rock sound but without being an actual rock band.
Schmoof lyrics are often tongue-in-cheek tales about "important things in life" such as boys, chocolate, pulling on tube trains, and what to do with unfaithful farmers.
Schmoof tour the UK regularly and have supported Freezepop several times. The Schmoof live show is known for its PVC, high heels, 48K
ZX Spectrum projections & frantic strap-on keyboard duels.Discography
