Bobo attended the
University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where he played on the men’s soccer team in 1995 and 1996. In 1997, he transferred toEastern Illinois University . He was a 1998 First-Team All-Midwest and EIU's MVP that season.Professional
In 1998, Hayes played for the
Des Moines Menace in theUSISL during the collegiate off season. In 2001, he moved to theChicago Fire Reserves where he was a first team All Star. In August 2001, Bobo signed with theMilwaukee Rampage of theUSL A-League . He remained with the Rampage through the 2002 season, winning the 2002 championship. In 2003, he moved to theRichmond Kickers . In February 2006, Jason Smith announced that Bobo was to join theAtlanta Silverbacks .
