Thunderpoint

Thunderpoint

Thunder Point is a fiction novel written by Jack Higgins in 1993. It tells the story a sunken German U-Boat that contains a document proving that Martin Bormann escaped Nazi Germany at the end of the World War Two. However, there is also a document which could cause extreme harm and embarrassment to the British Royal Family: The Windsor Protocol. The novel stars two of Jack Higgins best loved characters - Brigadier Charles Ferguson and Sean Dillon. Ferguson saves Dillon's life before Dillon goes in front of a Serbian firing squad; this begins his career as Ferguson's right-hand man of the 1990s, replacing SAS Officer Tony Villiers and ex-IRA gunman Martin Brosnan of the 1970s-80s era settings as a sort of "hero figure; bad-guy-turned-good" by the time of Thunder Point.
