The Torrena is a 336.5 meter-high telecommunications and entertainment tower in the city of Guadalajara,
Jalisco ,Mexico . The tower has been under construction since the spring of2005 .The Torrena is being constructed in the municipality of
Zapopan in an area of 17,720 m², right next to thePlaza del Sol shopping mall, and is expected to be finished by2009 . It will be the nineteenth highest tower in the world, and the highest inLatin America . It will includebank s,coffee andsouvenir shops and tworestaurant s (one of them with a revolving floor), among other spaces destined toentertainment andtelecommunications .ee also
