After he obtained his Masters Degree in Sociology from the University of Oregon, he worked for the Cooperative League of the USA in New York City. [http://www.extramile.us/honorees/campbell.cfm]
He initiated with his two friends Arthur Ringland and Lincoln Clark the concept that became known as CARE USA. [http://www.extramile.us/honorees/campbell.cfm]
