WestGrid

WestGrid is a $50 million dollar (CDN) government funded infrastructure program started in 2003, mainly in Western Canada, that provides institutional employees and students limited access to high performance computing and distributed storage, using a combination of grid, networking, and collaboration tools.

Principle participants

The seven main WestGrid participating institutions include:

* Simon Fraser University
* The Banff Centre
* TRIUMF
* University of Alberta
* University of British Columbia
* University of Calgary
* University of Lethbridge
