"Gatchaman" is the upcoming CGI movie based on the anime series of the same name scheduled to be completed in 2009 by Imagi Animation Studios. * The movie will focus on Ken, Joe, Jun, Jinpei and Ryu, especially on how they eventually formed the Science Ninja Team before they were dispatched to hunt down the Galactor terrorist group.
* The movie will focus on the Gatchaman universe, rather than the "Battle of the Planets", "Eagle Riders" or "" universes (i.e., it will be a direct adaptation of the original Japanese series rather than an adaptation of the aforementioned localized versions).
* The movie could possibly have a PG-13 rating since it will have a slight dark tone and will focus on some potentially violent themes.
