Praudha Raya (also known as Praudha Devaraya) was an unpopular king of
Vijayanagara Empire who ruled for a very short period of time being driven out of the capital by his able commanderSaluva Narasimha Deva Raya in 1485.He wrote Ratiratnapradipika, a book on erotics.
