Roman Catholic Diocese of Uruguayana

The Diocese of Uruguayana is a Roman Catholic diocese in Brazil.CathEncy|url=http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/15233a.htm|title=Uruguayana] It is a suffragen of the Archdiocese of Porto Alegre [http://www.catholic-hierarchy.org/diocese/durug.html Diocese of Uruguaiana] from [http://www.catholic-hierarchy.org/ catholic-hierarchy.org] ]

It was created in 1910 from the dicoese of Sao Pedro do Rio Grande, which became the Archdiocese of Porto Alegre. The cathedral is dedicated to St. Anne.
