Kidman Park is a suburb of Adelaide, in the City of Charles Sturt.The local school is Kidman Park Primary School and is a government school. The River Torrens runs through the suburb and there is a pedestrian walking or bike track that is a possible route to go to the City, beaches and even to the Adelaide Hills. It is the former home suburb of established AFL superstar footballer, Matthew Pavlich. Cult hero Mick is a current resident and he loves his cricket.In 2002 Kidman Park took a massive blow as a key family who were the hearbeat of the suburb were forced to emigrate to Melbourne. This came as a massive shock to the close knit community. Kidman Park has never been the same since and it has lost an essence of its former verve and vitality from which it has never fully recovered.
