26 August 1845 –5 October 1919 ) was a British lawyer.The son of Edward Charles Healey, he was born as Charles Healey. He worked as barrister, becoming a
Bencher ofLincoln's Inn and aKing's Counsel . In 1911, he wasHigh Sheriff of Somerset and on6 May 1919 , he was created a Baronet, of Wyphurst in the County ofSurrey . Chadwyck-Healey was made a Knight Commander of theOrder of the Bath and a Fellow of theSociety of Antiquaries . He was furtherJustice of Peace for Surrey andDeputy Lieutenant . In the service of theRoyal Naval Reserve , he reached the rank of Honorary Captain.On
6 February 1872 , he married firstly Rosa Close, daughter of John Close, and on17 May 1884 , he married secondly Frances Katharine Wait, daughter ofWilliam Killigrew Wait . He had one son, Gerald Chadwyck-Healey by his first wife, and two sons and one daughter by his second wife.References
