Sister Spit were a lesbian-feminist
spoken word andperformance art collective based inSan Francisco , signed toMr. Lady Records . They formed in 1994 and disbanded in 2006. Founding members includedMichelle Tea andSini Anderson , Other members includedJan LeCroy and poetEileen Myles . The group were noted for their "Ramblin' Roadshow", performing at feminist events such as theMichigan Womyn's Music Festival .
