"Velikite Balgari" ( _bg. „Великите българи“, "The Great Bulgarians") was the
Bulgaria nspin-off of the 2002 "Greatest Britons " program produced by theBBC . Aired on theBulgarian National Television 'sKanal 1 , its first stage began on9 June 2006 and finished on10 December , with a show on23 December announcing the names of the Top 100 as chosen by popular vote. The Top 10 were announced in alphabetical order. In the second stage, which lasted until17 February 2007 , the viewers determined the order in the Top 10.
