The road continues east for approximately 0.5 miles before coming to the Old River levee, near milepost 4.4. At the levee, the road turns left and goes in a northerly direction along the levee. The road follows the levee for approximately 1.1 miles before coming to an intersection withLouisiana Highway 971 near milepost 5.5. The road continues north for approximately 3.6 miles, where it intersectsLouisiana Highway 3190 near milepost 9.2.The speed limit is 45
