Stella Maris High School

Stella Maris High School is an all-girls, private, Roman Catholic high school on the Rockaway Peninsula in Queens, New York. It is located within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn. People who attend this school say this is a "small school where big things happen". The highlight event of this school is "Blue And Gold". This is a school spirit event where the freshman and seniors go against the sophomores and juniors in a series of events. This school overlooks a beautiful beach scenery.

The school has an estimated 500 students coming from all over the peninsula. The teacher to student ratio is one teacher to every twelve students. The tuition is $6,100 per year. Stella Maris is affiliated with Adelphi University and St. John's University for fifteen credits.In the high school is a junior high school called Maura Clarke Junior High School Program.
