"The Trinity Tripod" is the primary student newspaper of Trinity College in Hartford, CT. Since Spring 2006 the "Tripod" has been arranged with six sections, in order, News, Opinions, Features, Arts, Announcements, and Sports. Each of those sections has two co-editors save Announcements which has one editor. A typical issue of the "Tripod" has 24 pages and is published weekly on Tuesdays when classes are in session.

History

"The Trinity Tripod" was first published by the students of Trinity College in 1904.

Alumni

Famous alumni include syndicated columnist George F. Will ’62, Jim Murray (sportswriter) ’43, and reporter William K. Marimow ’69 – all Pulitzer Prize winners.

Jim Wood recently made headlines, as he hit a solo home run to lead the Trinity Bantams Baseball Team to a 1-0 victory keeping their perfect season still intact
