Victoria Peak within the Maya Mountains is the second highest mountain in Belize. The highest peak in the country, Doyle's Delight at a height of convert|1124|m|ft|0, is located convert|57|km|mi|0 SW of Victoria Peak. Victoria Peak is situated in the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary.

The first exploration of the ascent occurred in British expeditions of 1888 and 1889, but the explorers actually scaled a nearby peak that they mistakenly labelled "Victoria Peak". [Katherine M.
