sportscaster who hosted the very first broadcast of "SportsCenter " onESPN in 1979. In the early years of the network, he served as host of the "Inside Baseball" weekly magazine program that evolved into the current "Baseball Tonight " program onESPN .Grande was the TV
play-by-play announcer forMajor League Baseball 'sNew York Yankees in 1989 and 1990. Grande has been the TVplay-by-play announcer forMajor League Baseball 'sCincinnati Reds since 1993 forFox Sports Net , teaming with former playerChris Welsh to form the longest-running TV broadcasting partnership in team history.
