Julius Andreas Bechgaard (
December 22 ,1843 Copenhagen -March 4 ,1917 Frederiksberg ) was a Danish composer of piano pieces, songs, and operas. His best known opera 'Frode" shows the influence of Wagner.(See 'Dansk Musikks Historie', Kai Auge Bruun,København, 1969)
