Great Escape Theatres is a movie theatre chain that operates movie theatres primarily in the Midwestern United States. The chain has its headquarters in New Albany, Indiana, located just across the Ohio River from Louisville, KY.

Company history

The company is operated by Alliance Entertainment. The first theatre in the chain opened in Bedford, IN in May 1997. The company has since opened locations in Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee,Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Nebraska, Missouri and Georgia.

Customer perks

Great Escape Theatres offer such customer service incentives as online ticket purchase, senior discount days and free concession refills on all large sizes.

Great Escape Theatres also offers an incintive program known as the Critics Choice card. The Critics Choice card is a loyalty card program where members can earn points towards free concession items when showing the card during movie ticket purchases.
