The audio show dropped the Slacker Astronomy name in favor of Slackerpedia Galactica, due to a change in format and lineup.The podcast was created by Aaron Price, who wrote most of the scripts. The on-air talent were Dr.

iTunes Store in January, 2006 and at the time reported 13,000 unique weekly listeners. Travis is still actively involved in Slacker Astronomy and Slackerpedia Galactica along with
Doug Welch andMichael Koppelman . Aaron's role has greately diminished as he went to graduate school, but he still contributes occasionally. Pamela Gay is now a co-host of theAstronomy Cast [ [http://www.astronomycast.com Astronomy Cast ] ] podcast but has made cameo appearances.Notes
