Padmanabham is a Village and Mandal in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh, India.

There is a famous Ananta Padmanabha Swami Temple on a hill.

War of Padmanabham

The War of Padmanabham was fought in July 10, 1794 between British Colonel Pendergast sent by the Governor of Madras, John Andrews and The Rajas of Vizianagaram kingdom. China Vijayaramaraju lost his life and the British got their full control over the Vizianagaram kingdom.
