J. Todd Kincannon, Esq. (b.
June 12 ,1981 ) is Parliamentarian of theSouth Carolina Republican Party and Chairman of theElection Commission of Simpsonville,South Carolina . He currently resides in Simpsonville. Kincannon earned aJ.D. from theUniversity of South Carolina School of Law in2007 , where he was a member of the South Carolina Law Review, the Order of the Barristers, and theMoot Court . He also won a variety of appellate advocacy awards during his tenure in law school.Prior to law school, Kincannon completed graduate work in the fields of
nanotechnology andanalytical chemistry atClemson University . Kincannon also holds a B.S. degree with a triple major inchemistry ,physics , andmathematics fromErskine College and an A.S. degree fromGreenville Technical College inscience .Kincannon has been involved in a variety of high-profile election protests [Simpsonville to probe election protests, Greenville News, December 15, 2003.] [State Republican officials tackle Selby-Trout protest, Greenville News, July 10, 2004.] in South Carolina, several of which have been appealed to the
South Carolina Supreme Court . The most notable of these is "Gecy v. Bagwell" was designated by the South Carolina Supreme Court as a "Case of the Month."] a protest trial Kincannon presided over. This case was argued before the South Carolina Supreme Court, which unanimously affirmed Kincannon's opinion and order.
