Society of Fantasy and Science Fiction Wargamers

The Society of Fantasy and Science Fiction Wargamers (SFSFW) is an international body established to promoting the fantasy and science fiction genre within the table top wargaming hobby and also to promote the hobby in general. The society was founded by Steve and Karen Blease in Bristol, UK in the early 1990s, along with help from James Clay and Simon Evans. The society produces a journal, "Ragnarok", featuring industry news, articles, and game and miniature reviews.

A newsletter, "Nastrond", was also circulated to members and a number of specialist groups within the society have produced their own newsletters.

The society operates an electronic mailing list and has a web site where more information and articles from past issues of "Ragnarok" can be found.

The SFSFW's convention is called Bifrost. However, this convention has not been held since 2006 and is unlikely to re-appear.
