Adelaide Repertory Theatre

The Adelaide Repertory Theatre (The Rep) is an amateur theatre company in Adelaide, South Australia. It is the longest surviving amateur theatre company in the Southern Hemisphere. [Affort, T. The company currently presents four productions each year and The Arts Theatre is used by theatre groups and the community.

The company has performed at many venues around Adelaide. In 1963, the company opened the Arts Theatre. The first production there was the Peter Ustinov comedy, "Romanoff and Juliet". [ [http://www.ausstage.edu.au/indexdrilldown.jsp?xcid=59&f_event_id=68955 Austage] ] .
