Gruen Trophy

Gruen Trophy

The Gruen Trophy was a Canadian Football League trophy, given to the most outstanding rookie in the East Division. The award, sponsored by the Gruen watch making company, was discontinued and the trophy retired in 1973, as there seems to be some conflict that year with the Schenley Award (which had a separate and different rookie of the year for the Eastern Division.)
