Buddy England (born in
England ), was a former member ofThe Seekers , replacingBruce Woodley and stayed with them for six years.Buddy England had his own singing, writing and recording success in Australia and in England where he was born. Buddy was initially a solo singer/songwriter and producer and had great success prior to joining The Seekers, with whom he wrote, recorded and toured Internationally. He wrote many songs for other artists..Tony Pantano, Every Time You Touch Me; The Vibrants, I can't Let Go of Your Love; Benjamin Hugg...Album of the Year.."Early One Morning" and single of the year, "Thank God You're Hear With Me";Throw a Little Lovin' My Way, The Pattersons and so on. Some of his own hit recordings were: If I Never Get To Love You; Doll House; Question; There Goes My Baby; Sunny; What A Wonderful World, Movin Man; Forgive and Forget;Name of My Sorrow; etc. Buddy continued his solo career in Australia and Internationally, following his six-year stint with The Seekers and is still writing, recording and touring. His latest hits include Fates a Fiddler Life's a Dance; Beachport Girls; Cowboys Don't Wear Sweaters; What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am and Shoulder to Shoulder; all from his last Album, Fate's a Fiddler Life's a Dance. Buddy's other passion ir Thoroughbred Race Horses and is heavily into the breeding and racing side of things. He owns a standing stallion "LUHAIF" who is a race recod breaking sire of foals from his first crop of yearling from 2006 and weanlings from 2007.
