Upper Saucon Ambulance Corps

Upper Saucon Ambulance Corps

Upper Saucon Ambulance Corps (USAC), located in Center Valley, provides Emergency Medical Services to most of Upper Saucon Township, Pennsylvania, in the United States.

USAC provides Basic Life Support services and was established in 1976 after the Upper Saucon Volunteer Fire Company found the need to begin ambulance service. The service became known as Upper Saucon Township Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance Corps (USTVFCAC) and was later changed to Upper Saucon Ambulance Corps (USAC) after separating from the fire company.

The Corps is recognized as a non-profit organization. It is funded primarily by an annual subscription drive and from billing for services rendered to patients. Patients and their insurance companies are billed for emergency and non-emergency services.
