Robert Taylor (born December 28, 1973 in Houston, Texas) was an American football player. Bobby Taylor attended Longview High School. He attended the University of Notre Dame where he was selected a consensus All-American as a senior in 1994. He was an NFL defensive back, most recently playing for the Seattle Seahawks. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 1995 NFL Draft. He played for the Eagles until the 2003 season and went to one Pro Bowl. Taylor retired from the NFL after being released by the Seattle Seahawks in their 2005 training camp.

Taylor appeared on an episode of "MTV Cribs".

His father, also named Robert Taylor, won a gold medal and a silver medal in the 1972 Olympics while attending Texas Southern University in Houston. He died Nov. 13, 2007.
