Erik Gustaf Larson (
8 July 1887 -4 July 1968 ) was a Swedish engineer and co-founder ofVolvo .Family: Married to Elin Octavia Fröberg, 1918. Four children: Erik, Anders, Gunnel and Brit.
Gustav Larson held a Master of Science (M. Sc.) degree in
Mechanical Engineering from theRoyal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. He was appointed vice president and technical manager for ABVolvo in Göteborg, from the time the company was founded 1927. He worked for Volvo until his death, 1968.Gustav Larson was responsible for the technical design of the first Volvo model ÖV 4, introduced the
