Cryochemistry is the study of chemical interactions at extremely low temperatures. As such, it has overlaps with the field of condensed matter physics and some relevance within the field of astrochemistry.
Cryochemistry can often be used to study compounds and reactions that are too reactive or unstable under standard laboratory conditions. An example of such a compound is Argon fluorohydride a species only stable below 40K.
