Living in small towns in Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Illinois, Indiana, Arkansas has given him a unique feel and musical style. Jason starting playing guitar in high school with friends and continued during his short time at Columbia College, in Missouri. Songwriting began to influence Jason after a 3 month trip to Europe in 2000. After Returning to the states Jason to write and improve with several local musicians and writing whenever possible. Also in Logansport, Indiana Jason has existed in two incarnations. The first being Ditch, and later, Live Fridays with Scott & Jason. The acoustic rock style of the latter duo and the vocal styles of Jason McKeever & Scott Sellers gives the duo their unique sound. Another signature mark of the Duo is Strength in their individual songwriting, which often are blues infused and intwined withloss and problems inlove &life . The band also incorporates a bit of influence from folk music. In 2007 Jason first solo indie ep "the lights and the fury" was released. A mix of rock and acoustic songs "fury" is the first of a trio of records planned in the next few years. "Fury" is a blend of electronic, blues & rock songs that allude to a dark side of love. The next two albums are planned to explore different genres of music and subject matters.Ditch
The Foursome of Jason Mckeever (guitar and vocals), Gene Guy (guitar and vocals), Martin Hull(bass) and Jeff Luxenberg (drums) came together in 2001 and worked towards a less than stellar show career, a split after their first gig, in 2002 laid the foundations of collaborations in the future. Jeff Luxenberg continues to play on and off again to this day.

The Birth of this Duo began at the Holiday Inn in Logansport, Indiana marked a significant change in the Logansport music landscape. The Duo left the Holiday Inn after it became Ramada in 2006 and moved to
Polsis Pub . This was after they had begun work on what would have been their second year with the hotel. In fact, there was a fair amount of positive reception after the switch, although supposedly to date having played over 150 shows in their first year alone the duo is still a powerful draw on Friday nights. Being such a unique entertainment venue in a small town has influenced the entire community of artists. Jason began hosting an open mic night every week has opened a new venue to practicing entertainers and offers a weekly music session for up and comers and professionals alike.Band members
