(2005)"And So Is Love" is a song written and recorded by musicianKate Bush . It was released as the fourth and final single release from the album "The Red Shoes".Eric Clapton plays guitar on the track.Released on
November 7 ,1994 the single climbed to number 26 in theUK Singles Chart . Its entry in the Top 40 marked Bush's first appearance onTop Of The Pops in nine years. "And So Is Love" is about finding out that love, like life, is not perfect; but as we get older, we learn that our loved ones matter most."
Eat the Music ", which is track 3 on the CD single, is the same as the12-inch single version that appears on the U.S. CD andcassingle . Adding to the confusion is a third version, the so called "Extended Mix" which appears on the European and Australian singles (a real misnomer in that it's actually 12 seconds shorter than the standard LP mix).It is rumoured that in 1994, Kate planned to release "Why Should I Love You?"; a duet with Prince, however she decided to release "And So Is Love" instead.
This single was the last release before a gap of almost 11 years in Bush's releases.
