Fyodor Petrovich Simashev ( _ru. Федор Петрович Симашев) (born
March 13 1945 ) was a Soviet/Russia n cross-country skier who competed in the early 1970's, training at Dynamo inMoscow . He won the 4 x 10 km gold and the 15 km silver at the1972 Winter Olympics inSapporo for the USSR.Simashev also won a complete set of medals at the
FIS Nordic World Ski Championships , earning a gold medal in the 4 x 10 km (1970), a silver in the 4 x 10 km (1974), and a bronze in the 15 km (1970).He was awarded
