This subspecies is endemic to the
South Island ofNew Zealand . It is only found in theSeddonville area, and on the western slopes of theGlasgow Range .hell description
The shell has a dense dorsal pattern of dark reddish-brown spiral lines, as well as a few bold widely spaced dark brown axial streaks. There are only faint to obsolete spiral lines on the othwise plain yellowish-olive base.
The shell diameter is up to 42 mm, and height up to 28 mm.
Conservation status
"Powelliphanta lignaria rotella" is classified by the
