This subspecies is endemic to the
South Island ofNew Zealand . It is found only in the western part of theTasman Mountains , in the Tasman district of the north west South Island.hell description
Shell coloration is reddish, with a pattern of closely-spaced, diffused, narrow, reddish-brown spiral lines and bands.
The major shell diameter is up to 74 mm, and the height is up to 35 mm.
Conservation status
