Sir Henry Hobart, 4th Baronet

Sir Henry Hobart, 4th Baronet (c. 1658 – 21 August 1698) was an English politician.

The son of Sir John Hobart, 3rd Baronet and Mary Hampden was knighted in Blickling in Norfolk, by King Charles II on 29 September 1671 and succeeded to his father's baronetcy on 22 August 1683. Hobart was Member of Parliament (MP) for King's Lynn from 1681 to 1685, for Thetford from January to February 1689, for Norfolk from 1689 to 1690 and from 1695 to 1698, and for Bere Alston from 1694 to 1695.

Hobart served in the Army of King William III as General of the Horse, and fought in the Battle of the Boyne as his Equerry. He was killed in a duel with Oliver Le Neve in Cawston Heath and was buried in Bickling on 26 August 1698. His opponent was found guilty of manslaughter. On 9 July 1684, Hobart married Elizabeth Maynard, daughter of Joseph Maynard. They had three children:

*Catherine Hobart (d. 1725), married George Churchill son of Admiral George Churchill
*Henrietta Howard, Countess of Suffolk (c. 1681–1767)
*John Hobart, 1st Earl of Buckinghamshire (1693–1756)
