This subspecies is endemic to the
South Island ofNew Zealand . It is found only in coastal scrub areas of West Nelson.The base coloration of the shell is olive-brown to chocolate, deepening to greenish or reddish-brown towards the umbilicus, and without a clearly defined central zone. The base coloration distinguishes this subspecies from others.
The major diameter is up to 47 mm, and the height is up to 25 mm.
Conservation status
