The shell coloration is olive-brown on the dorsal surface, spirally lined in dark chestnut and with a few dark green lines. The base is golden to olive, with a small area of reddish-brown about the umbilicus. The
parietal callus is dark Indian-red and densely granulated.The maximum shell diameter is up to 50 mm, and height up to 30 mm.
