Richman’s professional career in project management began in 1980 when he began managing publications projects for
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints . Today, he directs the central Project Office that creates 10,000 printed, audiovisual, and Web products a year in up to 185 languages. This includes managing the writing, editing, translation, production, printing, and international distribution in 105 offices worldwide.Richman is a certified PMP (
Project Management Professional ), consultant, and trainer to hundreds of employees ofFortune 500 companies. He has authored five books on project management, including two college texts. Richman has been keynote speaker at professional conferences. He has also written computer-assisted project management systems.Publishing

The Church’s Web properties consist of hundreds of domain names and tens of thousands of Web pages (plus millions of pages of documents in the Gospel Library). Church Web sites are read by over a million unique visitors each month with 5 million visits and 50 million page views per month (not counting the genealogical research site FamilySearch).Richman directs the Internet Coordination group that establishes roles, processes, and standards and provides governance for the development and maintenance of Church Web sites and services. Search Engine Optimization Team. Evergreen fosters the concept that people who don’t want to be gay can control their behavior and live according to the teachings of theMormon Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ).Evergreen provides education, guidance, and support to individuals who want to diminish same-gender attraction (also known as same-sex attraction or
homosexuality ) and overcome homosexual behavior. It is also a resource to family, friends, professional counselors, and religious leaders.During Dr. Richman’s tenure, the Church began to address homosexuality in a more open way.
