animated television series "Drawn Together ".toryline
Foxxy vows to give up sex and Toot vows to get some. Foxxy tries to stop having sex, but after consecutive sex with
Denzel Washington ,Magic Johnson ,Forrest Whitaker , andAl Roker , she realizes that she needs help. Wooldoor, as a psychologist, hypnotizes Foxxy and helps her uncover a repressed memory of being violated by Phat Allen and his Junkyard Pals when she was younger. When she confronts them for an apology, they tell her that they have no idea what she is talking about. Because they won't confess, Foxxy has them arrested and put on trial. But at the highly public court trial, Foxxy herself gets arrested and sent to prison. After her release, she goes on a "
Kill Bill "-style killing spree and begins killing off every member of Phat Allen's Junkyard Pals, until Phat Allen is left. In a fight at Phat Allen's junkyard, Foxxy has him cornered, until Wooldoor reveals to Foxxy that they were telling the truth, they never violated her. In reality, Wooldoor had implanted the false memory of her assault in order to make herself feel better about hernymphomania , because psychologists use implanted memories all the time. Foxxy apologizes to Phat Allen for killing his gang, and the two realize that they should've killed Wooldoor, but Wooldoor stops the two by using an hypnotic suggestion used earlier in the show to make the two think they are chickens. In the meantime, the housemates tease Toot until Xandir finally offers to help Toot change her look. She gets herself a
muumuu and is very happy - until she is hit by a car of an East Indian family. The Indians believe her to be a cow because of her appearance and because she keeps saying "muumuu", which they think is "moo moo". Because Hindus believe that a cow is considered the most sacred of all animals, they take Toot back to their home to nurse her back to health. When they sing the song "Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna" to help her recovery, she gives herself away when she curses at how bad she thought it was.Shocked that she is talking, the Indians believe that she is actually the "legendary sacred talking cow" and take her to the king of India, who names her the ruler of India. Toot uses her power to force Indian men to have sex with her, and has had sex with at least nine million men which, according to the former king, is "almost .02% of this town's population." When Toot has a temper tantrum for more yogurt sauce that gets aired on the American news, Xandir is able to quickly deduce the chain of events that led to Toot's sovereignty. The rest of the housemates, save for Foxxy, Wooldoor and Ling Ling head to India to try and convince everyone that Toot isn't a cow, "as impossible as that sounds". The four are then arrested and set to hang for calling Toot a "not-cow", but Toot is convinced to admit the truth when asked the question, "would you rather spend your life with people who think you're a cow, or with your friends, who call you a cow to hurt your feelings?", along with the offer of a 2-for-1
Quiznos coupon. The Indians are outraged that Toot lied to them, and chase them down. But Toot saves the day by turning into a wrecking ball.Musical number: "Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna", from the Bollywood blockbuster "
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge ", plays during Toot's visit to the Indian family and again later when she visits India itself. Later, Foxxy and Phat Allen's gang sing "Implanted Memories", the music near-identical to the opening theme from "Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids ".Notes and inside references
* The working title for this episode was "Fat Albert and the Gang Bang". The DVD title is "Foxxy and the Gang Bang".
*This was the last "regular" episode of the show before the
clip show series finale .*
Otis Day makes a cameo as himself, as well asAbbey McBride who provides the voice ofLing-Ling , and does a live cameo as a white woman getting robbed by Otis and later dancing with him. Day is "Drawn Together"' s first live action guest star, mimicking the live actions shorts by Bill Cosby throughout episodes of "Fat Albert". He is not, however, the first live action person to appear in the series if the DVD releases are taken into account, as the extended DVD version of the pilot episode, "Hot Tub", includes live-action footage of an unidentified television news reporter.* When Toot asks which of the housemates is going to have sex with her, a quick clip of Toot is shown reading a copy of "
Entertainment Weekly " withParis Hilton on the cover. Although it is not a real "EW" cover, this is the third time this particular magazine has appeared on the show, following "Xandir and Tim, Sitting in a Tree " and "Charlotte's Web of Lies ".* The shot of a flying airplane superimposed over a map of the world originally appeared in the episode "
Freaks & Greeks ". This is a reference to Indiana Jones' flights throughout the world.* This is Wooldoor's second appearance as a psychiatrist. His first appearance was in "
Little Orphan Hero ".Animated cameos
* At the beginning of the episode, Foxxy is having sex with
Scooby-Doo (whom she mistakenly refers to as Astro), whileMarvin the Martian waits in line.Cultural references
* The title of this episode refers to the
Mumbai film industry inIndia , informally known asBollywood . This is alluded to by a spoof musical number in a Bollywood style.* Toot's "Tooters" outfit is based on the outfits worn by servers at the restaurant
Hooters .* When Foxxy gets a call from Magic Johnson, she replies to one of his requests, assumed to be for condoms, with "I'm on The Pill". This is a dual reference to Magic Johnson being affected by AIDS and the fact that oral contraceptives do not prevent HIV/AIDS or STDs and that it is recommended to use condoms.
* After Xandir tells Toot she isn't a hideous beast, the scene cuts to Toot on a screen full of platforms and ladders. This is a reference to the video game "Donkey Kong".
* The store Large Bryant is a reference to the plus-size clothing chain
Lane Bryant .* After buying her muumuu, Toot skips out into the street, then throws her hat into the air while happily dancing around; this is a reference to Mary Richards's behavior in the opening credits of "
The Mary Tyler Moore Show ".* When Foxxy is shown being released from jail, it is a direct reference to various TV shows and movies, including "
The Simpsons " and its recurring characterSideshow Bob , and "Kill Bill ".* A news reporter says "Apparently India is a country way on the other side of the planet." And then Clara says "The State of India..." Is a joke that plays on the fact that many American's have no grasp of geography outside of the USA.
* The scene where Foxxy infiltrates Phat Allen's junkyard, she taunts the words "Oh Phat Allen come out to play" which is a reference to the 1979 movie "The Warriors".
* The Hindu family claims that the most powerful Indian person is "Kumar from that White Castle movie", a reference to the role played by
Kal Penn in the film "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle ".* Phat Allen and his gang are thinly veiled parodies of characters created by
Bill Cosby for the series "Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids ". The gang members are named Phat Allen, Mushy Mouth, Strange Arnold, Mr. Russell, William, Chucky, Not Bright Donald, and Smoothy; these are references to the characters Fat Albert, Mushmouth, Weird Harold, Russell, Bill, Bucky, Dumb Donald, and Rudy, respectively.* At Foxxy's trial, Spanky is dressed as
Colonel Sanders , founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken. Later in the episode, Sanders himself appears, where he is decapitated by Foxxy. In keeping with the running gag of Foxxy having trouble remembering names correctly, she refers to him asOrville Redenbacher . The costume worn by Spanky is also an allusion to the fictional southern lawyerAtticus Finch .
** The gag would be repeated in "American Idol Parody Clip Show ", when during the "In Memoriam" segment, Colonel Sanders is shown but is again listed asOrville Redenbacher .* When she bulks up in prison, a poster of
Malcolm X can be seen on Foxxy's wall. She also has a menorah tattooed on her back, symbolic ofChanukah , a traditionalJewish holiday.* Although
India has had many monarchs throughout its history, there has never been a native Indian who has been leader of the "entire" country with the specific title of 'king', alongside the fact India is currently a republic.* In the German version of this episode, Wooldoor speaks with a heavy (very badly faked) Austrian accent, a reference to the Austrian psychiatrist
Sigmund Freud .
