The 2000 Oklahoma Sooners football team represented the University of Oklahoma in the college football season of 2000-2001. This year was head coach Bob Stoops's second year as head coach. His inaugural year in 1999 saw the team improve and finish with seven wins and five losses. The Sooners ended this season with 13 wins and no losses. They were the Big 12 Conference champions as well as the national champions. This was Oklahoma's seventh national championship in school history. The Sooners played their home games in Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
