"Powelliphanta marchanti" is a large land snail with coloration of yellowish-brown to old-gold, with a reddish-brown tinge towards and within the umbilicus. The dorsal surface and periphery is very sparsely spirally lined in darker brown.
The shell diameter is up to 54 mm, and height up to 30 mm.
