* "Witchy Woman" was referenced in an episode of the television program "
Seinfeld ", where Elaine wished for this song to be her and her then-boyfriend's "song." She tells Jerry that Witchy Woman is her new favorite song. Jerry says he's never heard of the song. Elaine then begins singing, "Ooh, ooh, witchy woman", to which Jerry replies, "Oh, you mean 'Witch-ay Woman,'" to emphazise the way it's pronounced by Henley when he sings.
