Thomas Flanagan (Roman Catholic Bishop)

Thomas Joseph Flanagan (born 23 October, 1930 is the retired Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of San Antonio in the USA. He was born in Rathmore, County Kerry, Ireland. He was ordained a priest on 10 June, 1956 for the Diocese of San Antonio. On 5 January, 1998 he was appointed Titular Bishop for Bavagaliana and Auxiliary Bishop for his home diocese [ [http://www.catholic-hierarchy.org/bishop/bflanagan.html Ordination of Bishop Flanagan] ] . He was ordained a bishop on 16 February, of the same year. The Principal Consecrator was Archbishop Patrick Flores; his Principal Co-Consecrators were Bishop Edmond Carmody, and Bishop John McCarthy. He retired on 15 December, 2005 at the age of seventy-five.
