Ladybarn

Ladybarn

Ladybarn is a suburban area near Withington in the city of Manchester, centred on Ladybarn Lane. It is now part of Manchester's urban sprawl but some of the village's original cobbled streets remain. The oldest properties are probably Rose Cottages, dating from the late 18th century.

The hub of Ladybarn is Ladybarn Village, consisting of around 20 shops, based on Mauldeth Road. Ladybarn is a quaint area away from the bustle of Manchester student life you find in other areas near by. Two primary schools are within walking distance and excellent transport links include Mauldeth Road railway station, and bus routes 44 and 50 to Manchester, and cross-town routes 22, 178 and 179.
