"All This Time" was the first single off of Tiffany's second album, "Hold an Old Friend's Hand". In the UK it served as the second single to "Radio Romance".

"All This Time" is a mid-tempo country ballad. In 1988 Tiffany was unstoppable. Her chart reign continued by the end of the year. The first single to her second album, "All This Time" was no exception. It shot up on the U.S. charts to #6. This was Tiffany's fourth top-ten hit, as well as her last. The single was also a top-ten hit on the Adult Contemporary "Billboard" chart. In the UK the single wasn't as successful, barely making a dent in the top 50. The lack of success with the single in the UK is possible since it was the second single off the album and not the first over in the UK.

The music video also aired heavily on MTV like her previous videos the accompanied the releases of her singles.

The b-side was "Can't Stop A Heartbeat" without a doubt her most popular b-side among fans. The song had been released several months previously on the Japanese remix EP, "I Saw Saw Him Standing There" and the Japanese single edition of "I Saw Him Standing There". It was also released on one of her greatest hits compilations.
