Holy Toledos

Holy Toledos

The Holy Toledos were a folk-rock group formed in Christchurch, New Zealand and led by musicians Brendan and Mick Gregg. Active between 1989 and 1994, they originally formed as a group of school friends, and are known for their melodic guitar-based pop songs. They have released two albums, "Forget and Forgive", in 1992, and "Blood", in 1993.

"Forget and Forgive" was published by New Zealand record company Failsafe Records Limited, before the band was signed by Sony prior to their second album. Approximately half of the album "Blood" was produced by Paul Hester, of Crowded House.

Personnel

The band has included the following members:
* Adam Gallagher - bass, vocals
* Brendan Gregg - drums, guitar, vocals, mandola
* Micheal (Mick) Gregg - vocals, guitar, tin whistle
* Tom Mahon - guitar, mandolin, vocals
* Paul McGuigan - drums
